MARK HILL: A HAIR HERO

Heard the latest news in the world of hair? If not, we’ll give you the low down! Earlier this year, Hair Magazine launched their Hair Awards for the 11^th year running. The big time magazine were on the look out for the very best stylists, salons and products throughout the UK. And although the competition was tough, we’re delighted to announce that Mark Hill was crowned the Hair Hero of 2017.

Our reigning champion is no stranger to Hair Magazine. Not only did our King get awarded the Best High Street Shampoo in 2016, but he also won the award for Best Heat Protection. Another achievement? In 2015 Hair Magazine named Mark the champion of the Best Serum. This came just one year after he won the Best High Street Shampoo and Best Waver awards, all of which were well deserved (even if we do say so ourselves).

So where did this super-star erupt from? After entering the world of hair as a young teen, Mark was quick to establish his reputation as a top stylist. Flash-forward (we won’t say how many years…) and our Yorkshire based hairdresser has not only maintained his amazing rep, but he’s expanded his skill-set, launching his very own hair cosmetics line and collecting an abundance of awards in the process.    Mark is the one and only stylist outside of London to have won the British Hairdresser of the Year award two times over.

What’s more? He’s the only UK stylist to have won the International Hairdresser of the Year accolade twice in a row… pretty impressive, right? With the way things are progressing, we think that Mark’s going to need an extension on that trophy cabinet pretty soon!
